Washington’s Olympic Peninsula

Photographing the Olympic Peninsula was an immersion in the Pacific Northwest’s moody splendor. From the lush Hoh Rain Forest, where filtered light illuminated moss-draped giants, to the elemental power of Rialto Beach and Ruby Beach, I found endless inspiration in raw textures and shifting light. Low tides revealed mirror reflections at Ruby Beach, while Second Beach’s arches came alive at sunset. The tumbling cascades of Sol Duc Falls and the tranquility of Marymere offered wonderful moments. Changing weather—mist, rain, sudden light—challenged me to adapt, elevating each photo session into an experiment with atmosphere, composition and creative vision.
