The Reno Hot Air Balloon Races are a breathtaking event that transforms the Nevada sky into a canvas of color and creativity.

The excitement begins with the Dawn Patrol, where balloons equipped with special lighting systems lift off in the pre-dawn darkness. As they ascend, the balloons glow, their radiant colors illuminating the early morning sky. As the sun rises, the Mass Ascension takes place, with over 100 balloons of various shapes and sizes launching simultaneously.
