Rich with extraordinary wildlife, pristine lake and alpine terrain, Teton National Park encompasses approximately 310,000 acres. The park includes the major peaks of the 40-mile-long Teton Range as well as most of the valley known as Jackson Hole. With more than 1,000 species of plants, dozens of species of mammals, 300 species of birds and more than a dozen species of fish, the park provides an almost undisturbed ecosystem for nature’s work.
With an awe-inspiring array of untouched wilderness, glacial lakes, winding rivers, diverse wildlife and craggy mountains, almost everywhere one looks seems picture worthy. Of course, this photo essay only scratches the surface of the wonders of Tetons National Park.
